This film was all around amazing. The acting was great, the humor was hilarious, and there was enough heart and emotion to keep this from being just your average sports comedy. Sam Rockwell is personally one of, if not, my favorite actor and he shines as the dead beat drunk coach and dad that is far more believable then a "Bad News Bears" type.
All in all The Winning Season won me over and then some and is arguably the best basketball film I've seen and one of the best sports films period. A beyond solid accomplishment. Great.
