Review of The Wings of Eagles (1957) by Dana — 08 Jun 2008
Rather sloppily made and uneven for a John Ford film, and also a surprising lack of period detail. Still, it's hard to go wrong with a film by Ford with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. Well produced.
It's a bit melodramatic, but it's moving as well. O'Hara is great.
