Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by Hugo G — 03 Jun 2008
Excellently filmed, and naturally scripted - Loach allowed his actors to make mistakes and stumble over their words when they were saying their lines, to make the delivery more natural. as for the film itself, its brilliant and moving, although, even as an Irish republican, I thought that the British were simplistically painted.
