This film is based on real life events during the Teddy Roosevelt Era. Loved Sean Connery is this one as the Raizulli. Great interaction with him and his woman captive and her children. She was "a lot of trouble" in the movie but they had a mutual respect.
The only thing was the original was not a Mrs Petticaris. It was a man. Romantic story about a clash of cultures and love.
