This film is one of the best documentaries I've seen. I expected something totally different. I was prepared for an informative, but one-dimensional, nature documentary, but this film was so much more than that.
It gives a look into the lives of the parrots for which it is named and also tells the compelling story of a man who finds his calling caring for and studying them. A wonderful, well made, character driven documentary.
