Review of The Wild One (1953) by Brian B — 10 Sep 2007
The Wild One is certainly not even close to being Marlon Brando's best film, yet he is still spectacular in it. The story is of a motorcycle gang that descends on a small town and causes quite a ruckus with drinking and destruction.
Of course there is a beautiful local girl (Murphy) who falls for the leader of the gang (Brando). Really other than Brando's usual great acting there isn't all that much this movie has to offer.
Overall 2.5/4 Stars Grade = B-.
