Review of The Wild Bunch (1969) by Mike K — 09 Apr 2010
'We're finished - All of us!' states William Holden in this gritty, brutal tale. He's not kidding. This film makes the old west look and feel like a third world gang war, with a body count that is truly staggering.
Beneath the blood is an overwhelming sense of despair. Nauseatingly poetic.
