Review of The Wild Bunch (1969) by Eric S — 28 Jul 2010
This was a good western film. In all Western films that I've seen, this one was the most satisfying and entertaining that I've watched in my whole life watching movies. Timing 138 minutes, I was not disappointed a little or much, I was well surprised a lot by those excessive violence that they shown in this film. Because of that violence shown on screen, this film was become a controversial and talk-about movie way back in 1969.
Unlike some western masterpieces like "The Searchers", "Unforgiven", "The Good, Bad, and Ugly", "Once Upon a time in the West", "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", this one is all about these aging gang of bounty hunters who become somewhat a hero to these people in Mexico. So, overall, this film is one of the best that I've seen, and yet one of the best western films of all time!
