Review of The Wild Bunch (1969) by Conner R — 11 Apr 2011
Such an amazing western, very original and relentless for it's time. I think that this gave American Westerns the boost they needed. It's interesting to see a movie where there are no heroes, just different forms of villains chasing each other around Texas.
The performances are great from William Holden and Robert Ryan, as well as the ensemble bit characters. The visual style is perfect, it gives it the final touch on a stroke of genius.
