Review of The Wild Bunch (1969) by Luis G — 08 Jun 2012

I think it is a classic and to paraphrase It defines the western genre by chiseling its gravestone. Its themes involve trust, purpose and death and played out as haunting as children having a pretend gun battle after a bloody masscre.

Its violence is a contraversial subject and at the time was lauded but like wine its has matured and viewing it now makes so much sense it is still shocking to this day. Id recommend it highly.
