Review of The Wild (2006) by Kelsey K — 28 May 2012
It was pretty cute! I wasn't very dissappointed because I didn't expect too much out of it. But, I'm not sure I'd be extremely excited or anything to see it again. Some, and I mean only some, of the jokes were funny (and I saw some hilarious deleted scenes that I think should not have been deleted!) And sometimes it was a little cheesy but little kids liked it I guess.
The squirrels personality surprised me, but in a good way. He was really thoughtful and loyal and kind and not stupid like many squirrels have been portrayed...just thought I'd add that. And, there were a lot of little things copied from Lion King but its a Disney movies so I guess they can do that :) Lastly, everybody said how much it was like Madagascar, but thought it was pleasantly different (except for the carnivorious wilderbeasts.
..that wasn't so pleasant...).
