Review of The Wicker Man (2006) by Erik A — 10 Jul 2009
When I read Roger Ebert's Review of Stanley Kubrick's classic dark comedy film "Dr. Strangelove" he remarked that sometimes the funniest things are when serious people fail to be serious. For instance, a man wearing a funny hat isn't funny, but if the man doesn't know he is wearing a funny hat, it can be hilarious.
The same can be said for "The Wicker Man". Nicholas Cage does not know he is wearing a funny hat here. More specifically, a funny hat made out of bees.
