Review of The Wicker Man (1973) by Jim T — 27 May 2009
Don't let the numerous bits of goofy folk singing fool you, Edward Woodward's trip to the remote village of Summerisle is unnervingly frustrating and creepy from the get go. Finding no answers at every turn, Woodward tries desperately to unravel the mystery of a missing young girl while becoming increasingly offended by the pagan rituals observed on the island.
