Review of The White Stripes: Under Great White Northern Lights (2009) by Ladd W — 27 Mar 2010
The next great rock doc. A blistering portrait of tireless musicians with clear spiritual and emotional connections to one another. They embrace the power of their sound and their audience with each stop as they tour the expanse of Canada.
This is the White Stripes at the peak of their first decade as a band. Definitely begs a re-examination of Get Behind Me Satan and Icky Thump as albums, for anyone who had even a inkling of doubt that the White Stripes couldn't top Elephant.
t's it's too loud, turn it up!
