Fan Bingbing isn't Brigitte Lin; Huang Xiaoming isn't the late Leslie Cheung either, of course.

I thought it would be dragging slow. On the very contrary, the narrative moves with turbo mode. That said, developments of both story & characters are so rapid that too many confusions between scenes- but with the most direct, straight-forward (alias dumbest) way of story-telling.
