Review of The White Countess (2005) by Kim T — 01 May 2009
Two lost / fallen souls find comfort in each other in unlikely circumstances;.
I often found it odd when oriental material is being handled by westerners, no exception this time, but still, great cinematography and good pace;.
And the narrative is not strong enough for me to sympathise with the characters;.
Great chemistry between natasha richardson and ralph fiennes (so is fiennes with each and every brit actress he has ever worked with) but the build up in the script again seems insufficient to lead to the climax in the end;.
Natasha Richardson was goddess.........she'd live on the screen forever.
