Review of The Whistleblower (2010) by Stuart G — 27 Sep 2011
While Whistleblower more or less follows the template for this movie genre (based on real events, about a single person trying to fight the system to rectify a grave unjustice of one type or another), it is worth to see because it avoids the trap of over the top dramatization.
Due to the fact that it stays grounded, but at the same time doesn't pull any punches, it manages to feel much more "real" than most other movies of this type. Second, Weisz is pretty awesome in this movie and it's been a while since I've liked something she participated in.
