Awkward beginning, but what a powerful and disturbing story. The UN is so full of waste that it welcomes this kind of injustice. Centralizing power and wealth at this level will lead to corruption, despite the best of intentions of many involved.
Sad that even the home countries failed to prosecute the contractors....but I guess campaign contributions are just too sweet for most elected officials.
