Review of The Whistleblower (2010) by Lisa R — 21 Mar 2012
HELL NO FACEBOOK!1.
And this movie is an eye opener. The topic explored in this movie was way too controversial but it highlighted human trafficking which has become soo popular in the news recently and put the UN into some disrepute.
Kathryn is an officer who is moved to Bosnia to work and discovers that women are being brutally attacked, beaten and exploited... well the rest is predictable as she finds out that some of the officers who should be protecting the women are the ones involved and the conspiracy is way bigger than she anticipated.
She gets emotionally involved with trying to save this one girl around her daughter's age. Rachel Weisz's performance was good she did a great job and this movie was well done it kept u interested all the way. It also served as humbling to see how women are treated as a commodity in other parts of the world.
