Based on a true story, The Whistleblower is a good movie with a solid script but poor execution. Some scenes did gripped me, but not all the way through, and ended up disappointing. I feel that this movie is like a experimental for both the director and Rachel Weisz. They want to be bold and provocative, yet at the same time, they are afraid if they will pass the boundaries. Overall, not a bad movie, just don't expect much.
