Review of The Wendell Baker Story (2005) by Hannah M — 01 Jan 2008

This film flew under the radar, but is really great, it's indie without being intimidating and I would definetly suggest it. It really seems heartfelt and is overflowing with the Wilson's signature humor, Luke did a spectacular job in his writing & directorial debut.

Aside from that the film has absolutly charming little roles played by icons of music and film. Some say the film was a little cheesy at times, & it kinda' was...but in good way! So if your looking for a good little movie to watch some weekend check out "TWBS" it will be worth your time.

..and even if you don't like the plot, hey it's 100 minutes of Luke Wilson (looking adorable!) set to an incredible soundtrack of Classic Country and Rock...
