Review of The Wee Man (2013) by Peter C — 07 May 2013
Gripes about The Wee Man... pedestrian, flat script; plenty of dramatic action, but no mounting tension, all one pace; wayward accents; John Hannah and Martin Compston are fine actors, but completely miscast - too nice, polite and gentle for the roles; and for a film about Glasgow, it would have been nice to have actually seen more of the city, rather than nondescript backdrops.
Think River City sponsored by Carsberg Special.
