Review of The Wedding Singer (1998) by Maxwell S — 11 Dec 2011

Every time I watch this film I feel like I am reminded about how it is an example of a 5-star, silly romantic comedy. Sure, Adam Sandler has made a career out of making shoddy films, but this is not one of them.

Drew Barrymore is also as cute as a button. It does rely heavily on poking fun at the 80s, but its a trick that doesn't really wear thin for me. Honestly, if you had to pick a romantic comedy made in the last 15 years, there are very few that can beat this one.
