Review of The Wedding Singer (1998) by Tim K — 18 Sep 2012
The Wedding Singer was a good romantic comedy, but it could have been a great one. Sure, it's well acted and, for the most part a well written film that kept me entertained. In my opinion, the movie could have had more consistent laughs, considering Adam Sandler being the lead actor.
Also, I don't understand why everyone loves Drew Barrymore, yeah shes a good actress but from what I have seen she has never been really great. The only reason why I think she is famous is because of her role in E.
T. but that's just my opinion. The main reason why I checked out The Wedding Singer is because everyone says it's Adam Sandlers best movie, but I don't see it. I will say that the film never bored me and I don't mind watching it again because it's very entertaining but at the same time, it's kind of underwhelming.
