One of sanders better stories and performances. This comes to the fore with his singing and general persuasiveness. Barrymore on the other hand looks bored and awaiting her next break. It's no coincidence she did "never been kissed" at a similar time.
The score Is expected and devoid of character, blessed by brief moment of joy from Bowie and be smiths, overall this isn't sandlers worst offering bit it could have worked better.
