This movie requires a theatre experience to truly be dubbed as funny, I felt.
Kevin Hart seems quite comfortable in the R rated setting, providing more laughs than his previous cinematic endeavors. Crude in some areas, absurdly cliche in others, the Wedding Ringer is great movie night material if you're looking for something to have playing in the background while you have pizza, and that's not a bad thing.
