Review of The Wedding Ringer (2015) by Gabriel H — 16 Apr 2015
The Wedding Ringer is the new comedy by Kevin Hart. He stars as a man who can be a best man for hire, for those who need it. As much as Kevin Hart has said that this is his best work, I am going to say it is not. Sure he can give you laughs and you DO laugh a lot in this, it is just that Kevin Hart has done better. I say that 'Ride Along' is better than the Wedding Ringer, and that Kevin Hart needs better scripts. The script was messy. VERY messy, but really, because of Josh Gad's ability to lift up a film, it really does not matter. I only laughed HUGELY at one joke, and that is because I am a hard person to laugh during a film. Still, I thought that Wedding Ringer is still worth seeing, and it was not as bad as it could have been.
Overall: Wedding Ringer might not be the best Kevin Hart, but it is still a good laugh for those who might need it.
Rating: 67% and a C-.
