Review of The Wedding Ringer (2015) by Matthew M — 15 May 2015
Some movies you like because of the cast. Some movies you like because of the story. The Wedding Ringer is both of those. Is it fantastic? Nope. Will you remember it in a year? Probably not. But it knows what it is and it meets those expectations.
Kevin Hart and Josh Gad star in this film. Josh Gad is a groom with no Best Man and Kevin Hart is a Best Man for hire. Need I say more. They both work well off of each other and the hodge podge collection of misfit groomsman are a lot of fun.
My only criticism to the film is the ending. It kind of felt like they didn't know how to wrap it up so it was a little abrupt. Overall a fun date movie that was perfect for a rainy afternoon.
