Kevin Hart has quickly risen to comedic royalty through his massive tours and ability to churn out multiple half-baked films a year. Teaming with long time writing partner Will Packer, Hart delivers an uninspired performance uplifted by Josh Gad's energy and charm.
Overall, The Wedding Ringer is a train wreck, but it delivers some genuine laughs before crashing.
