The Wedding Ringer does not reinvent the wheel nor does it need to. This serves as a great "whenever movie". Meaning you can throw it on laugh here and there but not care to much about.
There some solid laughs and some really ridiculous moments that after the second act you have to shut your brain off and enjoy.
Kevin Hart and Josh Gad are there usual selves but it works and they seems to have genuine chemistry.
I'd recommend this for a mindless rental but that is all.
