Review of The Wedding Date (2005) by Sharon A — 22 Apr 2013
Awful, this could have been done so much better, and probably has. The whole movie felt like it had been done in a rush and that scenes had been hacked out of it, so it just didn't gel right. I felt like I needed some form of back story to explain why Nick seemed to have known Kat much better than what a escort who had just been hired to attend a wedding would behave. I wanted the character of Kat to take a damn valium, and stop being so darn uptight. You hired a escort, at least act like a women who is running her life, instead of some virginal spinster, who dosn't know how to act around a man.
The movie had its ok parts, but in general, it should have been better acted, the storyline had promise, they just could not do it justice. The best would be to not rush through it, expecting us to just nod our heads and go 'Ok, I believe that that is what would happen, just because, for some reason you think it is possible to jump from that emotion, to that emotion in a blink of a eye, with no resaon what so ever'.
