Review of The Weather Man (2005) by Charlotta L — 12 Mar 2009
In life, accuracy counts.
Dave Spritz is about to take his best shot . . . at life.
... bring an umbrella.
Dave Spritz is a local weatherman in his home town of Chicago, his work-life is going great but his personal life...not so good. His realationship with his perfectionist writer for a father is forced. And the realationships with his neurotic ex-wife, and his now-separated children are just getting worse. Despite beeing both loved and hated by the public, Dave realises that his life isn't perfect and he hasnt got everything together.
His goal in life is to get a better job, make his relationship with his father better, help his kids become better persons and get back with his ex-wife. When a job opportunity in New York presents itself...life suddenly becomes alot more difficult.
This movie is rehather interesting with a good cast. but it really becomes rather dull at times, considering this is a Gore Verbinski film which according to me mostly are filled with action...
