Review of The Wayward Cloud (2005) by Sissel H — 14 Jun 2007
This is a very special movie that I saw at the Film festival in Trondheim. It has no lines and no music, it's almost silent, exept from the hysterical musical scenes which suddenly pops up. Even if the main characters doesn't speak, it's not dificult to understand the story and the frustrated feelings of the main characters.
The story is about a girl that lives alone and works at a museum, it's summer and drought, so the whole city lives on the water from melons. She falls in love with a boy, that works in the porn industry. It's a terrible workplace and makes it hard for him to have a girlfriend. Some of the scenes are awful, but part from that it a beautifull movie.
