Tsai Ming-Liang is one of my favorite filmmakers. A lot of people were turned off by the extreme nature of the last 25 minutes... and I can see why. But Tsai has always been a little bit crazy, so I just rolled with it.
At least it wasn't boring like GOODBYE DRAGON INN.
