Review of The Way We Were (1973) by Dan R — 15 Apr 2008
A beautiful, but tragic love story...which stark realism only proves that loving just ain't enough and where differences in backgrounds, principles and ideals can only lead to testing times for any lover.
...acted out by two of the finest actors at the time (Redford is unmatched at times...)...such an emotional ride this was, though a tad too depressing and get ready to stand by the tissues at the end of the movie where the final scene the front of the hotel provides a real heart-aching walk down memory lane.
..5 stars.
