I had this movie sitting in an unopened Netflix envelope for weeks. I finally watched it and I loved, LOVED, L O V E D it! It's worth renting even just to watch Allison Janney in the first ten minutes.
If only there was more of her throughout. It's a predictable coming of age story but it just works...the cast, the acting, the soundtrack. Sam Rockwell, well, he rocks. And I love Steve Carell when he isn't playing a clown.
In fact, as a bad boy I found him surprisingly hot. Def see it.
