Terrific movie. Funny (very funny at times), heartfelt and poignant. It's about a 14-year-old kid coming of age iced the summer at a home owned by his mother's boyfriend. The cast, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Allison Janey and Toni Collete, is superb, especially Steve Carrell putting in a surprising and convincing dramatic performance as a mean creep of a guy.
Really worth seeing. I highly recommend it.
