Review of The Way Way Back (2013) by Matt B — 27 May 2015
The Way Way Back is an honest look at that awful period in our teenage lives when we feel invisible. I loved it. I watch Liam James's performance and go "Wow. That was totally me when I was a teenager!" The movie is funny and deeply poignant.
The cast is superb, especially Steve Carell who is finally NOT playing the role of the depressed divorced melancholy man. He's a total dick here, and he's great at it!
