Brought to you by two-thirds of the team that brought us the Oscar-winning The Descendants, The Way Way Back is a lot more cliched and predictable. The wonderful cast saves it from being over-sentimental.
Nevertheless this is an enjoyable film. You can't go wrong with Sam Rockwell.
