Review of The Way Way Back (2013) by Jocey D — 16 Aug 2014
Pleasant, thoughtful and sensitive movie⦠better than I expected. Don't care much for Steve Carrell's acting. It always seems like a rehash of The Office. The young protagonist (Liam James) elicits sympathy.
Thankfully his mother, nicely played by Toni Collette, has a good heart. They have each other. Sometimes it takes an outsider to shed light on a bad situation. Worth a look.
