Review of The Way of the Gun (2000) by Troy D — 30 Nov 2007
This movie is a personal favorite. Del Toro and Phillippe get every ounce out of the standard buddy formula. It has a nice blend of action, dark humor, and violence. McQuarrie has had a hard time shaking the success and stigma attached to him from the Usual Suspects but I think he pulls off the double duty as writer/director admirably.
