Review of The Way of the Gun (2000) by Phil S — 17 Jun 2008
Surprisingly slow-paced action thriller is a disappointing directorial debut from the writer of 'The Usual Suspects'. The numerous plot twists are obvious, the dialogue sounds like it's written by a film school reject who's overdosed on Tarantino, and the acting is awful - even great actors like Benicio Del Toro and James Caan sleepwalk through their roles.
Worst of all, it's just dull and talky, making it a chore to sit through.
