Review of The Way of the Gun (2000) by Tom H — 23 Nov 2009
This movie was decent, but it could have been better if it didn't try so hard to be symbolic. It was pretty damn good at the gun fight scenes, but in the ways of sequencing, it gave itself too much dead-time that could have been excluded.
I believe that one more good gunfight scene could have been added in place of all of their no-dialog scenes. Still, it did well in telling a good tale, and some of the scenes were especially well done, so I would have to go between three and a half to four stars, so I'll be generous.
Props to Phillipe and Del Toro, their performance was #1 and #2, you choose the order.
