The writer of The Usual Suspects takes on directing and does a pretty good job. Another crime related film about 2 criminals that kidnap a surrogate mother and ask for a large ransom. Ryan Phillippe is very good here in the performance to many that got him out of that teen idol crap.
Benicio Del Toro also stars as his partner in crime, as well as James Caan, Taye Diggs & Juliette Lewis.
