Review of The Way of the Gun (2000) by Brandon S — 06 Aug 2017
Crime drama from the late 90's that has a great cast behind it the only problem is the lack of truth. Two thugs take a pregant woman hostage who is pregant with a baby that she has already agreed to give to a wealthy man and his wife.
The only problem is that the wealthy man has some sort of connections on the wrong side of the law and starts to send them after the two kidnappers. Overly crude screenplay makes one think where do people talk like this, luckily the combination of Benicio Del Toro and Ryan Phillippe works so well and that's what holds as the core of the film.
