Review of The Way He Looks (2014) by Arcanathe4Th — 27 May 2019
Sweet, relatable, and honest, The Way He Looks is the kind of coming-of-age/coming out story that other movies within that genre should aspire to be like. It is very easy to engage with the characters and their conflicts as they're not bogged down by the melodrama that usually permeated teen media.
The crew knew about the subjects they want to deal with and deliver a proper story about a boy understanding himself, the world around him, and fighting for his own independence.
