Review of The Way Back (2011) by Jesse B — 13 Jun 2011
"Make the fullest of your talents and march as long as you can, and pitch the tent nearer the goal, when darkness falls.â? - Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
An incredible tale about 6 men finding their way back on the escape from a gulag in siberia to India. A long walk that will pull them down on their knees, but a quest for freedom that none wants to give up.
Through the human centered nature of The Way Back we share the feelings of the characters all along their journey. The beauty of the sceneries make us want to dive in this adventure. And the atmosphere, however torpe by moments, keeps leading us in the deep reflections of the characters about life.
Impressive!
