Review of The Way Back (2011) by Jeffrey S — 15 Jun 2011
Peter Weir once again delivers a story about people against the odds. A brilliant, always-interesting story about a group of WW2 prisoners treking through Siberia to India features some great acting and stunning locations.
The pacing could have been tighter, the characterisaton is lacking, and the journey doesn't always feel as immediate as it should, but its a solid film to be admired.
