Excellent film. It's a travelogue movie of determination and loss. Characters enter and exit the story and I actually felt a loss when they left.
This is very much an introspective movie - not a lot happens accept for them walking, dealing with the elements and with each other. Just sit back and take in the majestic scenery, which evokes movies like Lawrence of Arabia.
The acting was great. A standout for me was Saoirse Ronan. She didn't have much to say, but she definitely delivered the heart and a sense of humanity amongst the travelers.
I highly recommend this film.
