Review of The Way Back (2011) by Kevin C — 04 Dec 2011
This film is so incredibly old--fashioned, it has a real Sunday afternoon (in front of the fire) feel, but for all that its entertaining and never bores.
On a restricted budget it aspires to the epic, and it is an extraordinary journey through changing landscapes. A minor gripe is that it tells you the ending in the opening credits, so you lose any real tension?
